John H. Valentine founded Hooks Industrial in December of 1987 with a remarkably simple idea: He wanted to build a company he’d actually do business with. To meet that standard, it would have to produce the highest quality, most precise and durable parts found anywhere in the world. It would have to employ cutting-edge design and unique sourcing protocols to deliver these parts at the most competitive prices. To do so, Hooks Industrial immediately embarked upon the development of a state of the art proprietary quality system, designed to ensure that our products reflect our customer’s specifications. On September 19, 1996, Hooks Industrial became the first reverse engineering manufacturer of rotating equipment parts to become ISO-9003-1994 (E) certified. And in every year since, we’ve dedicated ourselves to meeting and surpassing industry standards of excellence. On October 22, 2009, Hooks further developed the quality process by re-registering to the ISO-9001-2008 standard. Simultaneously, Hooks was certified to have met the eighteen provisions of the nuclear 10 CFR 50, Appendix B, standard. As part of the certification, we conducted a survey of all Hooks Industrial customers. The survey evaluated Hooks’ prices, deliveries, competitiveness, communication and product quality. The survey findings resulted in a satisfaction rate of 98.5%. We also rigorously evaluated and certified our vendors, and in doing so, defined the worldwide network of quality-controlled resources now available to our customers. Hooks now stands alone with its rigorous quality program and we’re ready to go to work for you.
